Game drive at Garden Route Game Lodge

Day 1:
Pick up at the airport and drive to our first destination. We book in at a 3-star BIG 5 Game Lodge. You sit back and relax while the guide takes you on an afternoon 4X4 game drive. After the drive there will be time to relax a little before dinner is served. |
Day 2:
We start the day the best way, with breakfast. After breakfast we take a mid morning 4X4 game drive. Now we drive to Knysna were a ferry awaits us for lunch and a trip on the Knysna lagoon. The day will end at a 5-star Lodge in Knysna with dinner and time to roam around.

Day 3:
As promised the day starts wild, with breakfast off course. From here we are going to hang around in treetops for a Treetop Tour and a light lunch. We then move on to something closer to ground but still BIG. We are going Elephant riding. We return to the Lodge for a well-deserved dinner and the feeling of mother earth under our feet.

Day 4:
Today we start with….breakfast, and then some exercise. A casual leisurely mountain bike ride will give us time to admire the forest and surrounding closer to ground this time. A Light lunch will be served before our departure to the overnight destination, a 4-star Game lodge just outside Oudtshoorn. If time is on our side we will be able to relax with an afternoon 4X4 Game drive before dinner is served. |

Day 5:
Today we are going deep. Into the breakfast hall and then to the Cango Caves. (Two routes available, one for the faint of heart and one for the brave heart.) After lunch we will taste our sorrows away with a visit to a wine cellar in the area. A camel ride will make sure everything is shaken, not stirred. We will give a hand in feeding the Elephants and then turn back for dinner and relaxation. |
Day 6:
Its time for breakfast again. Hope you will cope. Today will be our last 4X4 game drive and then an ostrich riding with our visit to an Ostrich Show Farm and a light lunch. Our destination after the shake, rattle and feathers is a private game reserve outside Worcester for a late afternoon walk. A buffet dinner awaits us and there is ample time for relaxing in a Roman Bath. |

Day 7:
We end the tour with a buffet breakfast and game viewing on horseback . A buffet lunch is available before we depart for the airport again. (Try and book departure for after four, we don’t want to cut the tour short). |
